What is Experiential Action Trauma-Informed Care?

Experiential action methods for trauma-informed care are therapeutic approaches that use active, hands-on techniques to help people who have experienced trauma — working through doing and experiencing, not through talking alone.

These methods are designed to create a safe and supportive environment, acknowledging that the person may have gone through difficult or distressing events in their life.

If you are keen to build competency skills for mental health and trauma recovery — in individual therapy, group therapy, or both — using trauma-informed care experiential action methods, these supervision sessions are for you.
